Reva Jenkins and Altha Kinghorn

In Elaine's scrapbook next to this photo it says: My Mom, Reva Jenkins and Altha Kinghorn grew up as neighbors and best friends. After Mom married Dad and Altha married Merlin Phippen, they remained friends as couples. They each had a boy. Then later their daughter Joy and I were born on the same day. We saw each other through the years. She married Mel Cotterell, a friend of Tom & J.D. Later divorced and became Joy Fosse. After many years we met again and I was privileged to help take care of Altha the last few weeks of her life. Joy and I had lunch a few times on our birthday the last few years.
